You know what they say about people with small pics.

That they are very good at replacing window regulators?

I had this same issue! What car was it on? Did you use rivets?

Oh man, come over and fix mine... please... I don't think I'll ever actually do it.

I didn't think I would do mine, but i roll down that window 4 times a day minimum to get into my parking garage and I was sick of it.

Toyota land cruiser fzj80. No rivets...where would you use rivets?

Mine is the passenger's side, and I have passengers about twice a year... would be nice in the summer, or if I ever get pulled over...

Truth be told, it wasn't bad, i did it by myself in a little less than 2 hours.

I know mine would take longer. Encouraging, though. Might try to get into it before summer gets here again.

What is the car?

'95 BMW M3, the regulator motors always go out on the E36s.

ah, I can see why your hesitant, I had a nice big Toyota door to work with.
![]() 10/29/2013 at 11:59 |

My door is about half that size... and all the window components are crammed on top of each other inside.

my ML calls for rivets where the regulator connects to the door frame. What does the FJ want?

mine isn't an FJ, its a land cruiser 80 series, but im sure its the exact same as the fj cruiser (the Toyota way). it uses bolts. I can't even imagine why you would want to use rivets, that's the Germans though...
